Oakley Boyd is a transgender Portland, OR based animator and musician. He has been working on music videos crossing animation and live action while using their own personally produced music as the score. Boyd is currently using his time attending PNCA to reinforce his animation skills, hone in his editing, and receive feedback on his music production. He currently has three music videos produced, titled; Wavelength (2019), Recollection (2023), and Sunshine Apocalypse (2023). Boyd has described his personal practice as “combining sound with mixed media visuals-- namely animation and video--to tell stories about the human experience through a neurodivergent and queer lens".
